The
terms and conditions set out in this section together with your rental
reservation confirmation comprise your agreement with Larson Lodge.
Payment We accept personal checks drawn on US bank accounts, International money orders in US funds or VISA/MASTERCARD. We must charge an additional $20.00 fee (to offset bank collection/conversion fees) for payments made in NON US funds or drawn on a NON US Bank. We recommend payment via credit card for our NON US clients - It's simply the easiest way to go. A 50% deposit equal to the 2 day minimum stay is required 30 days in advance to secure your booking with the outstanding balance due 10 days prior to the first day of your stay. If fees are not received within 10 days prior to the first day of your stay, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, which will make you liable for cancellation charges as set out in the table under canceling your booking. Security
Deposit The security deposit for the cabin is $500.00 and is due along with any outstanding balance 10 days prior to occupancy. Checks used for the security deposit will held 10 days beyond the duration of your rental period. A VISA/MASTERCARD can also be used as a security deposit. Larson Lodge will not place any charges on the card unless there is damage or cleaning claim on the property. When providing credit cards for security deposit purposes, the card must have a valid expiration date effective at least 45 days beyond the end of the rental period. The security deposit will be refunded to
you within 15 days after your stay, assuming there are no claims or penalties
assessed such as cleaning charges or property damage beyond normal wear
and tear and the key has been returned to the designated drop off location.
There is a $20 penalty for not returning keys. Amendments
to your Booking Requests for changes on dates can be facilitated provided the cabin can be re-booked and requested dates are available. There will be a $25.00 administrative fee for this service. If you wish to add any new persons onto
the booking and we are able to confirm such changes, no amendment fee
will be levied. Any applicable charges will be issued on a new confirmation. Transferring
your Booking If
you are prevented from traveling, you may transfer your booking to another
person or group, as long as you give us at least 7 days notice and the
arrangements remain the same as the original booking. Canceling
your Booking If you cancel your booking, the lead name on the booking must advise us by e-mail or fax immediately. If you cancel you will be liable to pay the cancellation charges set out in the table below. Cancellation periods are calculated on the date of your cancellation being received by us. The term "total booking cost" in the table means the total booking cost for all persons included on the booking and shown on your confirmation Cancellation charges expressed as a % of
total booking cost. Inventory/Household
Rules You are responsible for ensuring that all the conditions that are stipulated in the Household Rules/ Inventory Listing, the Terms and Conditions, and the Cabin Rental Application/Information are adhered to and that all inventory and equipment is used in a safe and responsible manner. This responsibility also extends to all occupants and guests visiting the cabin/property. Further, you are required to ensure the cabin and its property is left in the same condition and state of cleanliness (beyond normal wear and tear) as it was upon your arrival. Failure to do this to the satisfaction of Larson Lodge will result in cleaning/damage charges applied against all or part of the security deposit. A minimum $75.00 cleaning charge will apply (Inventory and equipment includes but not limited to, the cabin itself, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or about the cabin and respective property). |
